Snow days

We live in Madison, Wisconsin where it has been known to snow a little. In order to help out we have snow days. It’s just like it was when you were a kid. If the local schools are closed, don’t come into work. Beats getting your pants wet and slipping all over the road.

No dress code (except for customers)

Building great things does not require being all dressed up, so don’t. The only rule that we have is when you're meeting with a customer, you have to put on the fancy clothes. We work in a very traditional industry where appearance is important; someday we will get them to understand.

A results only work environment

We don’t care how something gets done, it just needs to get done. So if you're only productive at 1 AM in the morning, work then. It doesn’t matter to us.

Lead Developer

We focus on apps and tools that add-on to the electronic medical record to improve patient safety, reduce administrative overhead on clinical staff, and save organizations time and money. Our ultimate goal is to make lives easier for clinicians and better for patients; it's as simple as that.

Lead UI/UX Designer

At healthfinch you will be working in healthcare, an industry which is in desperate need of a design revolution. In fact, that's why we founded healthfinch because we believe good design can make all the difference. You will be designing applications and experiences through tools which add-on to the electronic medical record. Our ultimate goal is to make lives easier for clinicians and better for patients; it's as simple as that. This could include everything from designing a new portion of our existing application (RefillWizard), coding your new designs, tightening up the copy, creating marketing pages to better convey what we are about, doing a little client work (implementation), or maybe even working in the sales process. We are going to be expecting a lot out of our designers, so make sure you're up to the challenge!
